Starting the lying I see. Did anyone ever find those death threats his mom swears she got?

The funny part of all this is Clemson offered him after we did, and he chose to go there, yet is upset we didn't offer him sooner

Exactly and it’s very hypocritical.

It is pitiful if he still has regrets after all his success at Clemson. If he is using this "slight" as a way to get up for the game, something must be wrong with his motivation.

Look, I understand that he was upset he wasn’t the first choice, but he did get an offer.

O admitted to making a mistake

He was in BR 4 days before he signed his LOI to CLemson. He had his chance to sign and didn't. His choice.

ETA: both sides are fine and we got to witness CEH which is probably more fun than Etienne.

Oh good lord, these people are latching on to anything that gives them victim status to amp up for the game. Does one really need motivation to get more up for a National Championship?

So he holds a grudge and is not growing up. All LSU can do is stop him. He wants to be bitter at someone the team loves so much, players can back their coach on the field.

Also sounds like he didn’t want Clemson.

We offered him before Clemson did. He had his chance to come here and he turned it down, then chose Clemson. Everything else is some fabrication he made up to get media attention and make a better story.

He got butthurt because he was our backup plan to 5* Cam Akers. It is what it is.

Sounds like he was looking for validation though and still doesn’t find peace in his decision

That’s unfortunate

Life’s too short to be salty AF

Sounds like he’s still got something against O after these years.

Based purely on what you posted, I would reach the opposite conclusion. Sounds like he's comfortable with himself and his decision and isn't worried about O or other coaches that didn't sign him

One thing I noticed while re-watching some of Clemson's games is that Etienne gets absolutely blown the frick up when he's pass blocking A LOT.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have him as an extra weapon but with our scheme I'll take Clyde

Eaux didn't make a mistake. That ship had sailed before Eaux had the authority to offer.

Ed was the recruiting coordinator and then the head coach that cycle. LSU still offered before Clemson. If he had a beef with the previous staff, well Les and Cam were long gone.

It's just the media stirring shite up. Doesn't matter in the end.

Hopefully it is in his head enough for him to make some mistakes during the game.

it'll take more than a disgruntled player and Breck boy to derail LSU's offensive juggernaut.

And he didn't need us, and he's, likewise, done fine.
