When they start winning consistently, they'll pick up fans

Not really. We couldn't even sell out our final home game of the year in 08-09 which ironically we lost and gave us an 8 seed.

winning during 1 season is not what I meant by consistently.

Put teams in the tourney 3 out of every 4 years and we'll get fans back.

Can someone answer my question on if there are stats from the Rice scrimmage? or an article? something?

They didn't keep stats. Coaches just kept score. It got leaked.

yeah even so i think it will still be tough. first off i'd love to see us string 3 or 4 tourney appearances together but even if it happens you'll still have a lot of fans who are just so fickle towards basketball.

i think the only way you will see the pmac back like it was is if they go out and hire a slapdick like a pearl or dale brown who will jump up and down on cafeteria tables trying to sell the program. if we can get a solid 7-8k in the building consistently that will be a start.

When they were in Italy they were crushing some teams so badly that the scores were being adjusted midgame and taking away LSU points. They put up like 45 in one quarter against one of the teams.

they dont really keep stats in those scrimmages, some of them are controlled situational games like they do in football sometimes. i know they had one of those with tulane last year. the coaches just keep score on the bench.

i did hear that o'bryant and bass played well though.

buddy on the team is claiming they have a real shot at the NCAA tourney this year, personally I don't see it but he says if O'Bryant keeps playing out of his mind.
