Would love to link this horseshite, but thankfully, don't subscribe to IN. It's on the ESPN.com home page, though, if you have access.

If Mathieu continues to improve this season, he cannot be counted as overrated

ESPN says "look at me" "look at me". I'm glad they think he's over-rated.. Should run and throw at him everytime..Really no other player I want them to test, like TM, because you know what happens when you play with fire???

The 24 hour sports coverage leads to some funny shite. Before middle of last season, TM7 was completely underrated and in many ways completely unknown. Then after completely dominating a season defensively like no one else, as well as having some spectacular punt returns, he gets all sorts of praise and recognition (rightfully so). Now, during the offseason, he becomes overrated.

Hilarious.

they are trying to draw a crowd.

everyone knows what he brings to the table. his play speaks for itself. he is a constant game changer.

It amazes me the number of uninformed journalist that are out there. And we depend on these same people to deliver accurate information on our government and other news. I haven't read the article but Joyner obviously has nothing to write about so he either makes up BS or takes a small sample size and use it to draw a complete conclusion about a player.

Tyrann Mathieu was the best player on the best team last year. In recent history, that would warrant him a heisman nomination or even heisman winner. This summer it has been all about dogpile on the Honeybadger. Can't wait for the HB to repeat last seasons success.

ESPN knows that it bothers TM7 when people write things like this about him and that he will rant on twitter about it.

I've never heard of him either. So I took to the Google machine and typed him in. Some of hits on the first page include:

-KC Joyner is a pretentious "blogger" who hates Peyton Manning

-KC Joyner says Tony Romo a top 5 NFL QB (this is from May 15th of this year)

-KC Joyner says Mike Wallace is better than Calvin Johnson

Just because he gets to put those 4 letters under his name doesn't give him credibility. Looks like he's trying to be another "bad guy" for when Skip Bayless retires/dies/gets beaten by an NFL player.

Good, this is exactly the kind of thing that drives him to be so great.
