Wow you miles guys are amazing! You didn't see any changes offensively? How about just in terms of getting plays called and personel groupings on the field? We broke the huddle most of the time with 20 seconds or more on play clock. No wasted timeouts. 11 years of piss poor clock management gone in 1 week and you saw no significant changes? That is sad

It'll take some time, bruh. Most of them were against us getting rid of Miles in the middle of the season. They don't want to be wrong. The ones who are not sold yet will be in a few weeks if we continue to play like this. Give it a little time.

600+ yards of offense. Yep, we fired a HC because he was putting 600 yards off offense up and running 82 plays. haha. People are stupid

"The media will be fixed on Miles...."

I really don't think so. This past week and this game? Yes, but that was to be expected. The media has the attention span of a 2 yr. old.

It was news this past week. Next week, not so much.

He's a young up and comer. Doubt he'll have much of a career.

Lighten up, Francis.

The OP implied the "game plan" was "much different" Saturday night. I disagree on the "much" part and that has nothing to do with "miles".

The most basic part of a "game plan", much of which takes weeks or even months to develop, seeks to gain match up advantages. It's bout playing to your strength or the other team weakness. If we had had thrown the ball 50 times and run it 30, then we could say the game plan was "much different". imo

Btw, great win. I couldn't be happier for the staff/players. It was a tough week on them and they handled it like champs.

Agreed....I wish they would rather just focus on the couple game they actually saw a good bit of in college football final rather than trying to discuss games they didnt watch at all

I know he was at ABC and basically "demoted" as you say. Your comment made it seem like at his CURRENT JOB he hasn't done any big games. Just the way you worded it. Jesus, calm the frick down.

No, but last night did show that there really isn't anything wrong with the scheme or philosophy. Miles was just too scared, stubborn, whatever, to allow it to open up more.

I've come to the conclusion that Danny Karnell is irrelevant. When you figure this out you'll live a much healthier life.

19/30 (63% completion) for 200+ yards is just like Miles. We pass to set up the run. Those analyst are overpaid idiots. ESPN just like any other news media, all they do is instigate shite.

I had a few buddies get into an argument with me saying that it's the same Les Miles offense and Missouri is just "bad." Them saying to me, "what game are you watching." It pissed me off.

We absolutely spread their defense out. 3 wide formation sets most of the night. It wasn't toss dive after toss dive. No Wr shifting inside to block which I think is the dumbest thing you can do. Missouri couldnt hve 8 in the box for a lot of stuff because they had to respect the pass more. I finally saw a god damn screen to the RB. (Still want to see that more). It was an overall good job of Steve Ensminger to spread the ball around the field. We ran what most coaches call the spread out pro style offense. It resulted in our best offensive game in a while.

I think I heard Charlie on the radio last nite say that, out of 24 first down plays, we had 14 passes, 10 runs. That's definitely different.

Spin it how you want. When you have more first downs in a half since Saban was coaching and more yards vs an SEC opponent ever, something was different. Something tells me Miles coaching wouldn't have produced those results.
