This. We got shut out in the fricking national championship and barely cracked 90 yards in doing it. I love LSU but that pathetic performance will go down as one of the all time biggest jokes in any title game.

IF this had been another team besides LSU that played like we did, we would be dogging them out and laughng at them too, so we have to be able to take what we dish out. Really funny. This is what is so darn frustrating. ESPN and every news outlet talking about how D, O and special teams being so good this year. Then the only thing good they can talk about is we made it past the 50 yard-line.

It's ashamed that this team is a punchline now that the season is over. It really diminishes what those guys accomplished. I feel bad for them. I enjoyed it immensely.

I'm telling you...years. People aren't gonna forget this stinker. Sometime in the future, there will be a team that sucks it up and gets blown out in a bowl game. People will see "Wow, that was almost as bad as LSU not showing up in the National Championship."

FACT. If LSU had shutout Bamalike they did to us. And the LSU BBALL team had won last night. ESPN would have NOT DONE that to Bama.

LSUhoohoo, I think you are right and it is unfortunate that we will be the standard that people measure when there is a horrible bowl game and like you said it will be "Wow that game was almost as bad as LSU's fiasco against Bama."
