ESPN - "The LSU Tigers went on the road and beat a ranked Mississippi State team early in the season, and then turned around and walloped Auburn at home. Last Saturday they beat No. 8 Florida, giving them the No. 1 strength of record in the country."
ESPN - "the Tide’s loss to Ole Miss at home looks worse by the week"

That doesn't seem to be the sentiment on talk radio and/or in the recent "top 4" polls. It's like the loss never occurred.

Schlabach said that Bama has the most impressive resume beating Wisconsin, UGA, and A&M. Didn't even mention the Ole Miss loss.

not buying it. Our schedule is completely backloaded.
Our Florida win was nice because I do think they're pretty good. Miss State was decent but nothing more than that. Auburn and So. Carolina are both a train wreck.
The November gauntlet of Bama, Arky, Ole Miss, and A&M will tell the tale.

Strength of Record =/= Strength of Schedule
SOR deals with games played and our record against those opponents.
SOS deals with your entire schedule (played games & future games), but does not consider W/L.
As of this moment, according to ESPN statistics, LSU has the most impressive resume thus far.
EDIT: Also, according to the article, LSU has the #1 remaining SOS in the nation.

Yep. That is the truth. I'm not worried, LSU just keep on winning and all will be well.

Come on. That's impressive.
The Ole Miss loss was a fluke.

Alabama's 2 recent wins don't even seem impressive. They beat Georgia who could not even score a TD vs Mizz.. and barely won by a fg at home..
Alabama beats a very soft a&m team and after these 2 weeks everyone is back on their wagon? I never understood the a&m hype.. I never will. They do this every single season. win a few games early on and everyone thinks they are great.. but their offense isn't even as good this season and their run D is just as bad as before.
They still lost to an Ole Miss team at home who is dropping multiple games..
Bama has a good dline, but they aren't exactly world beaters.. and their depth on their o-line looks pretty bad once their center was out.. unlike LSU who plugs in anyone on the line and still looks good rushing.

Yep when bama looks like shite and loses let's forget about it but when they get a gift in the form of 3 pick 6's and holes that a Volkswagen can run thru with Texas a&m they are now the best thing since sliced bread.

What's really fun for me as a LSU fan, the two most enjoyable "SEC teams to hate" Alabama and Ole Miss, are dragging each other's credibility down. Where as Fla and LSU are lifting each other up.

No one in that list will stop LF any more than FL did even bama actually I think FL is better on D

Honestly...what does it matter? We win...we in!

Florida is better than UGA, State is better than Wisconsin, and A&M is A&M.
