Yes. Even players that get drafted in 7th round have endorsements. I believe Malachi Dupre is with Adidas as well.

I know a guy who was on a practice squad for 2 years and never was signed to the 52 man and he had a deal with UA.
It was something like 5k and a lot of free clothes.

Everyone does it.

If your the last place guy on the PGA tour your going to get a 300 thousand dollar deal from a golfing company at least. So I'm sure all sports guys get something just for being in the show.

Why all the down votes

The companies cast a wide net. Every once in a while a late round pick turns into a star. If the company got them signed when they were a nobody for practically nothing it works well for them. If the guy is a bust they're out a few thousand dollars.

The value of a big name endorsement contract is huge. LeBron makes 1 billion with Nike and he's probably worth a lot more than that. Signing rookies for a few sweatsuits can pay off huge if they turn in to stars.

Jamal is already with Jordan brand, Bose, and Head & Shoulders. He will kill it with endorsements.

Or if they recruit them for you/. Just look what the Dapmaster Kent Bazemore did for Under Armour
