Half court defense is terrible, but the main thing that is happening right now is that we cannot make 3s. A huge part of our game is being able to penetrate deep into the paint, kick it out and hit an open 3. Our good shooters are shooting open 3s, they just arent falling.

"just be patient we'll be great next year"........does that mean a move to replace Johnny Jones is in the works? It's gotton so bad I think a return of Brady would be an improvement

And if emphasis is being put on defense it isn't getting across. The fundamentals in watching them play defense are just embarrassing. Watch their footwork and switching on screens. It's like they've barely practiced at it, and I know they have...it's just not getting across.......again.

Also, as well as CJJ has recruited, his bigs have all been swings and misses to this part. None have made a significantly consistent contribution and they've all been in the sytem over a year are more.

Just very disappointing. SEC looks like it's going back to 3 teams in the tournament they way they are getting run OOC and 3 losses like this are devastating for a team that frankly should be a tournament team.

Lots of things are wrong but one glaring thing I saw was that this team panics way too much when they get down. Someone quoted a tweet earlier about our offense looking like a chicken with a head cut off. It was pretty accurate seeing how poorly we ran the offense.

No post player. Playing 3 freshman big minutes. I'll wait and judge this team when they are at full strength.

Yeah but by then how many losses will they have? 10?

How are 3 loses in november devastating? The loss to charleston is terrible, but losses to marquette and nc st are by no means devastating.

Had these two remained, it would have been a completely different situation. This team doesn't play like a team.

Because the SEC is getting slayed in OOC this year, unlike last year and that will be reflected in the bids they receive, you can bet that.

So losses like this, to unranked teams with low RPI's... that should be wins, absolutely hurt and we don't have a win over WVU yet like we did last year to cover the scab.

This puts us way behind where we should be. I expected to win at least 2 of 3 here. Those losses are significant to our tourney chances.

No offense, no defense and no rebounding. But other than that we're good

The fact that you are talking about opponents' current rpi this early in the season proves you are being ridiculous. Rpi means nothing right now. Close losses to decent teams from major conferences do not hurt you nearly as bad as you you're actling like.

brady had really, really good defenses. you could count on that. this team has neither good offense or good defense.

so which is more likely, these are bad losses and lsu doesn't have enough good ooc opportunities to make up for them in addition to having a robust conference record

or

coc, nc st, marquette and lsu are all going to light it up from here on out having solid top 25 rpi rankings at the end of the year.
