ECU@USF FSU@Miami not cancelled

ECU@USF (Tampa, FL) NOON Eastern Time (Same time LSU@UF would have played). Tampa is practically the same distance to the East coast of FL and neither are in the hurricanes path!
FSU@Miami 8:00 PM Eastern Time and actually in the path of hurricane Matthew.
BUT LSU@UF is cancelled? WTF UF administration?!?! Just admit your DA, coach, and team have no spine and used the hurricane to heal up key injured players and give you a better chance to win the SEC East if Tenn drops 2 games which is likely.
Spineless UF!

My bad. I corrected my error. I lived in South and Central FL and know Gainesville is no danger of the hurricane.
The point is ECU@USF and FSU@Miami weren't cancelled and if their game goes on, why did the LSU@UF get cancelled?

Guys wake up Florida refusing to play this game had nothing to do with the storm. That's why it's not making sense.

Andy yet, I get thumbs down on this post. I know it is not about the weather guys. Simply put, UF used the hurricane to not get an arse-beating and to improve their chances to win the SEC East.

Tampa was never in the cone and Miami was just barely in the cone. UF made the right call cancelling the game, but they should have done it much sooner, and the reason why they didn't is blatantly obvious.

I'm fine with UF not wanting to play the game in Gainesville on Saturday.
The problem is UF's chickenshit refusal to play the game at all...anywhere. We offered them plenty of options.

Other games in Florida are being played.
Obviously there are other Florida venues available, assuming Foley did not want his team playing in Louisiana.
There were/are a litany of alternatives.
