24 and 7 in just 18 minutes last night, that is unreal production. He reminds me a ton of Siakam. I think he's going to make a big name for himself in the tournament where we might not have fouls called against us for every little thing.

He’s our hottest shooter right now, he mixes up the drives and threes pretty well. We need him to shoot threes when open

He's fouled out the last 3 games and hasnt played more than 20 minutes, he has to play smarter

He 36.2% on the year and 11 for 23 the last 7 games from 3.

He needs to take open good 3’s, not step backs.

Are you being serious? I do like Eason, but not nearly a top 10 pick this summer.

Great player for us but he won't sniff the lottery picks.

Name the 9 players better….

Y’all are underestimating his skill set. And with a big tourney showing it’ll be a no brainer. He’s Siakam with a shorter wingspan.

How tall is he realistically? If he measures < 6’6” how much will that hurt him?

I don’t think he goes top 10, but he has been projected late lottery by a lot of people. So it’s not that far off.

You are right but this thread is about his draft prospects and NBA teams don’t care about this. They know college officiating is garbage.

He took a couple bad threes last night. I’m all four him catching and shooting threes but he took a couple step back contested threes against Arky. That’s not his game.

He's second (a slim second) only to Oscar Tshiebwe in overall efficiency. He gets it done on both ends of the floor. He's arguably the most efficient player Wade has ever had when you consider his play on offense and defense.

He ranks in the top 10 of the SEC in ALL of these categories:

Points per game (7th)
Steals per game (6th)
Blocks per game (9th)
Rebounds per game (9th)
FT% (10th)
FG% (3rd)

His advanced number are even better!:

Effective FG% (2nd)
Total Rebound % (5th)
Offensive rebound % (6th)
Defensive rebound % (9th)
Steal % (2nd)
Block % (4th)
Offensive rating (6th)
Defensive rating (1st)
Win share per 40 mins (1st)

Yet, he is only playing 24 minutes per game. That may not even be in the top 20 in the SEC.

Part of that is on him with the fouls. But there is no reason your best player should be 5th...on the team!..in minutes played. I like Wade, but his personnel decisions this year have been curious, at best. I think it is a matter of a analytically based guy getting too far in those weeds. Sometimes the "data" is right in front of you. Play your best player MORE...sit the guy (Reid) who gives you nothing most nights out.

I have to disagree. I am not able to name 9 players because I have not watched a lot of college ball this year but I would think they will have at least 15 draft eligible players better than him. When I watch him on the court he doesn’t move like an NBA player.

Chet, Ivey, Jabari, Johnny Davis, Keegan, Sharpe, and Banchero and maybe TyTy but he’s made of glass. Those are the only players I can realistically see going ahead of Eason.

Eason will get drafted and play in the NBA. Top 10 might be a stretch, but he’ll get drafted and make a team.
