Big Country would be one to consider as GOAT status as well. He carried LSU to beat Tejas in the finals and won the batting title in both the NL and AL. Only one other person in the history of MLB and it wasn’t in the modern era and is questionable.

Crews proved himself over and over while at LSU, and he has to be considered one if not the greatest ever.

But his pro exploits don’t matter. His exploits at LSU are all that counts.

The same applies to Burrow, Cannon, Pete, Seimone, and all the truly elites to have represented LSU throughout history.
