According to SEC rules, Les Miles can't come out and say the SEC refs are bad or corrupted. But there must be some way Miles can show his displeasure with SEC officiating without breaking the rules. Les Miles should be able to state this to the media before and after every SEC game "Due to suspicious calls and no calls I'm now forced to game plan that. I feel I owe it to my team to try and not allow such suspicious activity to effect the outcome of a close game, so I will make the necessary adjustments to try and overcome them.

I would hope if Miles spends any time looking back at the game and developing a response to it, it would be to try and develop a passing attack that is at least moderately efficient.

The officials are incompetent no doubt, and they certainly don't deserve to have jobs in the best college football conference in America, but it's not all on them.

Don't kick that ball out of bounds and we probably win. A couple of dropped passes are caught and we probably win. And for christsakes, can we get just an average QB one day. That's all I ask, a QB that just doesn't suck.

(insert photo of CLM's face after the kick-off out of bounds)

quote:

Positiger: You always seem to be deep in thought. Tell me, what are you thinking right now?

CLM: I was thinkin', I'm gonna take me some of this grass home with me.

Positiger: How about before that?

CLM: Well, let me think... I was thinkin' I could use me another couple cans'o that potted meat if ya got any extree.

I'm sure Les Miles agrees, but he also needs to make a statement that adjustments will now be made according to how the game is being officiated.

How in the frick do you game plan for suspicious calls or no calls? What play do you run for the suspicious unsportsmanlike penality?

Some of you of you are nuts. It's like you live in the Kingdom of the Yellow King.

Maybe something along the lines of "We're going to get an unsportsmanlike penalty at some point, so we'll go ahead and lay a good forearm across the bridge of Ritter's nose on this play so we at least get some benefit from it"?

Mile's plan was to score 1-3 more points than the other team.

It's possible to game plan for a high-scoring game. Passing on first down instead of third down is one way. Would like to see us try to score as often as possible, instead of trying to dominate the time of possession. I like'd the game plan, just think when facing a top-5 team who's coming off a bye, we need to plan-on scoring more.

Please no one reply that we are trying to score every drive. Sure it's a hope and wish, but the goal (the gameplan) was to control the clock.

We got away with alot as well, but the calls that were made were done at opportune times to keep Bama in the game. PF by Vadal changed momentum. Had we scored a touchdown there, Bama would have had a hard time tying. Should have been called both ways and therefore offsetting. JMO

Quarterback play is horrendous and definitely the main need at this point. We will never contend if this is not fixed.

We had the gumps beat, and gave it back to them. Made me want to puke

Needed to break Sims in half when he was running out of bounds for the first down.

Well Les Miles could gamble a bit more to score, but its really about him implying without actually stating to the media that SEC officiating has affected his play calling. Its more of a rub at SEC officials. You obviously didn't get that part.

Sounds a lot like sour grapes. LSU lost. Deal with it.

Hell no, there's no reason for LSU to eat sh#t from SEC bias officiating.

Compare that to the various calls against Alabama that kept setting them back in the OT. Any of those calls would have caused LSU to settle for a field goal and would have had our fan base screaming about the refs the other way.

If it wasn't known before this (which it was - PP's no-call interception), it most certainly is now. We're not EVER gonna get the calls. If you keep it close against Bama, you lose. End of story.

LSU needs to be able to put 2 TD's on them to have any chance.

Defense isn't the problem, inefficient QB play is.

honestly id take the punishment and call them out, something must be said to draw massive media attention to the issue...It would be worth the punishment... There shouldnt be rules saying you cant call a spade a spade either...its un-american and goes against freedom of speech.. Take it to the supreme court...

It stills goes back to the lack of QB play.
