That's got to be the worst way to win one. Oscar Pereiro said it best when he said you don't want to win it like that. Part of the victory is celebrating in the aftermath. Stripping it of that and winning 7 years later is awful.

Did the drug test take a decade to process or something? Or do they strip any previous medals for x amount of time if you test positive recently?

They store samples and retest as the testing gets better pursuant to WADA's protocol.

More noteworthy to most is that Bolt no longer can claim having won three golds in three different Olympics, which some had rightfully considered one of the most impressive feats in the history of athletic competition.

The top four teams should be forced to return to the site of the Olympics, the medals ripped off the Jamaicans handed to the silver medalists and the other teams hand over there medals down the podium. I'd pay in excess of $7 to see that.
