Did anyone see David Ducre play last night? People were saying we burned his redshirt last night... but I never saw him. Can anybody confirm?

I just find it funny how every year there is a player, (two this year) that the fans latch on to and ask why they are not playing every week no matter how well the rest of the team is doing.

I was more asking why did he play, instead of why isn't he....
if the plan was to redshirt him, why burn it now...

Can't they play a limited amount of snaps and still get the redshirt? Seems I've heard this but really don't know the answer.

I don't think that was ever the plan, he's technically been the backup FB the last 2 games and the probably wanted to get him in a game before Bama

No, 1 snap and you've used a year of eligibility. There is a medical exemption but you can only play in 1/4th of the games and they all have to be in the first half of the season, then technically the injury has to documented and the team has to file to get the exemption.
