Realistically Mingo is the only lock. Just based on what I have read I would say Minter is more likely a first round pick, but Reid isn't too far off.

Definitely 2 of 3. Maybe all three, but Reid may be in the 2nd round.

side question.

Who here actually thinks the honey badger will go in the first round

:nothisguy: Im thinking 3-4th round.

How awesome would it be if Mingo gets drafted by the saints. I find myself following LSU players more than teams

Mingo is a lock
Minter is like others have said solid 20-40 range.
Bill Polian and McShay said that if Milliner goes Top 4 somebody might reach and get Reid.

Wishful thinking but I hope Reid slips to 51

Mingo is an obvious first.

Minter is possible to Minnesota or Baltimore.

Reid is likely 2nd if SF doesn't take him.

Does anyone know if either of them are in New York or were invited but turned it down? I saw Vaccarro there so wondered why Reid wouldn't have been invited too. They're considered to be 1a and 1b at safety.

He should, but he won't. If he would have been on the field last year, nobody would even know who Te'o and Manzeil are.

See I disagree that he should go in the 1st round. TM went for the ball knowing he had a defensive back behind him to make the tackle if he didnt get it. Most backs wouldnt/couldnt take that risk to go for the ball and not the tackle. That says a lot for our defense that we could take those risk.

Minter should be the pick for w/e team picks Manti T'eo (Im looking at you Bears, Vikings, and Ravens), but he won't be. 5 years from now, one of those teams will be sorry.

According to Mel Kiper:

Mingo goes 9th as a Jet
Reid goes 31st as a 49er
Minter goes 32nd as a Raven

According to McShay:

Mingo goes 15th as a Saint
Reid goes 31st as a 49er

I really have high hopes for Minter at next level. Guy turned out to be a stud. Hope Baltimore takes him.

The only thing about that will be the spotlight fans will put on the MLB position. Ray Lewis was always the vocal centerpiece. While Minter is quiet, but leads by example. Hopefully they just focus on his ability to play

Definitely a toss up. Kevin is one guy who didn't 'take breaks', gave it his all no matter the opponent or score, stood out on a team with a lot of D talent. I can imagine him only getting better with age and training. Love to see him have a chance to take Ray Lewis's slot.

A lot of people have Reid going to the Rams or the Bengals in the first round. If it happens, I want my CREDIT!
