I think you missed the point. Most people are never even "accused" of rape, and that's because most "normal" people never put themself in situation where they might possibly end up being accused of rape.

If you have ever had sex with a girl in a private place you have been in a situation where you might possibly end up being accused of rape. All she has to do is go down to the police station afterwards and say she said no but you didn't stop, regardless of whether she actually said that or not and BOOM, you are accused.

Um.. Girls wont be able to do that unless either you choose to sleep with terrible people or you are a certified creep. Both of these are a good possibility in this situation. I would lean more toward creep.

Most women know that it is a terrible accusation to make, and there is a huge problem in this country with women not coming forward because it is an under-reported crime.

This is a stupid statement. Sadly you can be accused of rape whether or not you actually committed it and it will ruin you life. There are plenty of nutty people in the world.

Never said otherwise - and I'm far from being your kid. And if you don't think there are situations where women falsely report rape - well see the Duke Lacrosse case. It happens. Some of them get second thoughts too late and decide the way to remedy it and salvage their chastity is have the guy put in jail.

There's also a huge problem with people freaking the hell out whenever a girl even says rape. Sadly innocent until proven guilty often gets thrown out the window in rape cases, and even if you get proven innocent the reputation damage is often a killer.

When I was in high school, a friend and I were out with a couple of chicks drinking and carrying on, we dropped them off, next morning my mom wakes me up telling me the police just arrested my friend for rape. Those crazy bitches ripped their clothes and made up a story to stay out of trouble because they came in after curfew.
