"Former LSU player faces count of rape
A former LSU football player was arrested Sunday for allegedly raping a woman earlier this month.
Douglas Allen Planchard, a reserve player for LSU from 2004 to 2006, is accused of raping the woman Oct. 12 at an undisclosed residence, an arrest warrant says.
Planchard, 25, tried to rape the woman a second time the same day, but the woman got away when another person inside the residence heard her cries for help, the warrant says.
Planchard, 12438 Lake Sherwood Ave., was booked into Parish Prison on a count of forcible rape."
Wow, talk about an epic fall from grace. This guy was a fairly big name in recruiting when he came to LSU and just never panned out.
