LINK

I was so happy at how much playing time he received this year. Dude lined up at nickel, CB, Safety, punt return and kick offs. He had a bunch of tackles, a fumble recovery for a TD an a INT. He almost had a punt return for a TD. Looking at that track vid, he has considerably bulked somewhat. Could add 8-10 more lbs during spring. He's going to be a beast.

I know I shouldn't start this nick name shite, but we had Honeybadger and Donte is looking like the Tasmanian Devil

Because the ability to catch the ball is first and foremost with a punt.

He's only lost 1 muffed punt in 2 years as the returner

So youre one of those posters that thinks they know the players' strengths and weaknesses better than the coaches?

How hard did we recruit Kirk Merritt from Destrehan? He's number 9 on the list LINK

I remember his name but don't recall his recruitment

He had an offer but let the coaches know pretty early that he wanted to play in a spread offense.

We recruited him.

Pretty sure that we wanted him at DB, he wanted to play on the offensive side of the ball. Could be mistaken though.

The LSU defensive back, touted for his 4.24-second 40-yard dash time, ran a blazing 6.66-second 60-meter Friday in his first collegiate race.

Brazil, a Loranger product now a junior at Louisiana-Lafayette, ran a 6.70-second 60-meter dash Jan. 22.

Oregon freshman Kirk Merritt, a Destrehan alumnus, ranked No. 9 on the list with a 6.78-second mark set Jan. 29.

One-time LSU target Adoree' Jackson, a sophomore at USC, ran a 6.79-second 60-meter dash Jan. 22, good enough for 12th among football players thus far this season, and also a 21.35-second 200-meter dash that currently leads all football players on the track.

That's some damn good company to be ahead of.

I think that name best describes Guice.

Would like to see him play slot receiver. He'd draw the coverage and open up huge lanes for Dupree and Dural on the outside.

Nope, but I also have an opinion that White makes some questionable decisions with the ball on PRs. He might be the best on the team. I'm not there in practice. However, in specific reference to White's sure-handedness, I have my personal reservations based on what I've seen the past couple years.
