I'm not worried about Aranda. He is a proven commodity. Sometimes teams have your number.

Pretty sure Ohio State beat Wisconsin like 54-0 one year with him as DC.

Arranda is as good as it gets. It just goes to show you've got to have playmakers, depth and experience for even the very best coordinators.

Funny thing is some LSU fans want to shite on him but if and when he leaves for another coaching stint next year they will cry their eyes out.... double standard eh?....

hell, with playmakers, depth and experience, even I could be a good DC.

The true test of a good coach is what you do with LESSER talent. What you do when injuries occur. You know, adjust and scheme to use your strengths and hide your weaknesses.

Coaching.

I haven't really seen LSU fans shitting on Aranda. I saw a few say he holds some responsibility in the loss due to defensive players getting ejected, busting coverages, etc. But just about all the fans have said they know what we have in Aranda.

Lots of double standards. I love the rationale from the kids that it is acceptable that Herman and Fisher get beatdowns on them, but isn't for O because he failed 10 years ago at ole miss

is it really that hard to understand?

these coaches have proven records

O doesn't

people are more inclined to give a coach with a proven winning record time over a coach that has the exact opposite of a proven winning record

its why people are not that worried about Aranda, he has a proven record

if he didn't have such a good record as DC, you would see much more vitriol towards Aranda

I'm not an O supporter, but not a hater either. Was mostly disappointed in Canada this game. Lsu will struggle on d until they get some dl back. Canada, just not sure. Will give him a chance though.

And this is fair criticism of the whole defensive effort and what was lacking Sat. night. Fair criticism is not "shitting on" him.

Aranda is the one coach on this staff that at this moment I have confidence can and will get this mess fixed.

I'm not as confident of Canada yet because I haven't seen much of what he can do at LSU, but I am hopeful.

CEO? I just hope he really shakes off the Ole Miss stigma and proves his worth this season.

O haters are more inclined, not normal rational and objective people. IDGAF about the past. To me that game last Saturday was unacceptable...the same as Fisher getting the shite kicked out of him by 40 last year to an average at best team...and getting killed against bama...I thought fl st was loaded, and he is an elite coach? Unacceptable. Same with Herman.

I love Aranda, he is the best coach on staff and hope he never leaves....If him leaving meant that O was gone as well i would help Aranda pack and give him some gas money.

You should.

It puts people's reaction into context.

You call others "not normal rational and objective people", but then admit to being solely a reactionary person

He walks away with guaranteed millions and you are paying him gas money. Sadly, I believe that from you.

Yep.

If coaching allowed you to overcome all, then Bill Belichick could field a team of ShortyRobs and beat LSU under Orgeron.
