so our head coach should just stay away from coaching the team?

2. AJ McCarron won't be back. He has been the key to their run. He is the ultimate game manager, and his consistency is the reason they have only lost twice since he has been a starter. The next QB for Bama, regardless of the number of recruiting stars he had coming out of high school, will also have big shoes to fill.

This is something that I don't think can be understated. I think most Bama fans will be more concerned with this after the season than they will be willing to admit. I can tell you this their #2 this year (or the guy that came in to spell McCarron in blowouts) ain't the guy I don't think.

It will be interesting to see.

Sorry, but this needs to be addressed.

In the five years before his last season, Bryant's teams went 11-1, 11-1, 12-0, 10-2, and 9-2-1. They won 3 outright and 1 tied conference title and two (one unanimous) national titles.

They only 'slid' his last season.

Gain the confidence of his players that he will keep good coaches, and stop putting his bbq buddies in position. Then find a way to keep his juniors from going to the
league. How ever that may be.

If Saban said that he wanted to do better than any before he went to Bama, then, I expect Saban to be at Bama until he wins seven national championships there.

After that, ALABAMA IS SCREWED !!!

LSU will have a chance to pick up another crystal ball at that time !!

OUR DAY WILL COME !!

Yes.

And on game day, he should just stay in his office.

The only thing I wonder about is when the sun finally sets on Bama, will LSU be the team to claim the top spot in the SEC, or will so much time have passed that someone else will be there?

LSU needs to change a few of the assistant coaches. Stud needs to go for two reasons, production from the O-Line and the fact that he was demoted, it's just time to part ways.

LSU needs to also get Corey Raymond to pack his bags. He's a good recruiter but he cannot seem to develop competent DBs. We had the talent but Raymond's guys don't seem to fit comfortable with what they are being taught and translating it as part of Chavis defense.

Don't worry about recruiting, if we close out the year like I expect us too on the recruiting trail we are fine. Some guys don't want to go to LSU, some people want to get the hell out of Louisiana. We are bringing in talented guys from all over. Alabama, Ole Miss and others will eventually reap what they sow. They are cheating and it's going to catch up to them. We are on the verge because we are good but we aren't willing to cheat. It will eventually speak to our longevity as a program for years to come.

Please provide a link that proves that Ole Miss and Bama are cheating. Despite your dreams and wishes that Bama will spiral downward, it's not going to happen. Bama may have one or two years of being a middle of the pack squad, but I promise you, they will always be be the elite program. Bama is a successful coaches dream job. The best coaches will want to go there and prove that they are the best coach in Bama's football history. Bama will always be able to pull a top recruiting class. The name Alabama sells itself. I'm an LSU graduate and I'm being realistic. Wishing Saban gone or wishing Bama to fail, ain't gonna happen. Bama's name sells itself. Living here, I now realize what Tulane had to constantly endure when they had a decent program. Alabama is the number one fan base in this state, and Auburn is an after thought. Do ya'll know that when Tulane had a decent football program, their stadium was much bigger than Tiger Stadium. I bet to this day, Tulane fans wish that the president who led the charge to leave the SEC rots in hell. Bama will always be top notch. If Bama meets Florida State in the NC, I'm definitely putting my money on Bama. How impressed are you that FSU can blow out every team that it meets in the ACC? Saban will definitely out coach Jimbo. Jimbo hasn't really been tested this season. Flame away because I don't get upset by pre teens and teens pretending that they are LSU students or alumni of LSU calling me every name in the book. The truth hurts and I live in a world of reality, not one in wishes or dreams.

Sounds like you are one of the kids that I'm talking about. Please point out to me where I stated that I love Alabama or Tulane. Did you ever hear of reading comprehension? Maybe your reading skills will improve after you enter the tenth grade.

Get that loser bullshite talk out of here.

I dont give a frick if they are the greatest team ever en-route to their 1000th consecutive national title, who cares? Do you feel better about yourself kneeling in their presence?

Do you think a recruit or potential recruit or student might read your post and second guess his/her decision to attend LSU? Hmmmm.

BTW son, I am far from being a kid. lol and

Try not to be so mad, guy, lighten up, its just kids playin a game for Christ's sake.

We seem to be pretty stacked at QB at the moment

A stable with little to no experience is nothing more than a stable
without on the job training.

Our opener next year will feature a QB with minimal experience because Miles has not let Jennings or Rivers have any significant playing time. There have been opportunities during this season.
In summary, we're gonna be screwed like a hooker on a first date. I predict a 8-4 season in 2014.
