Some LSU players read what's being posted maybe even a coach or two. I would take it personally if I were them that LSU can't compete. Just hoping it adds fuel to the fire and a LSU victory.

You are greatly over estimating the LSU offense.

Honestly, I could be, hopefully it's Alabama under estimating LSU's offense.

Alabama only beat A & M 27 to 19. So let me ax you (to use the O vernacular) why can't Luziana State University play Alabama close and even beat them?

A&M scored a garbage time TD with literally seconds left to cut the score the game was also at College Statation.

I guess never say never but since 11/5/11 the 7 teams that have beaten Alabama have basically had mobile QBs and generally run a spread offense. But I'm sure jet sweeps will really confuse Saban

What I heard Hannigriff say was, "If Alabama plays it's best game, LSU is not going to beat them."

I can't argue w/ that statement.

You are such a strange guy. Just 3 weeks ago you were ready to fire O for losing to Troy and letting Lindsey Scott transfer....now you are pissed off because someone said they would be hard pressed to beat Bama?

I don’t think I can name another radio personality, IOW someone who gets paid for their voice, with a more depressing tone than Hannigriff. He’s extremely knowledgeable, but man is he depressing to listen to. He just comes off negative, even when he’s attempting to be positive.

Last year they were beat up and young at Rb. This year they have 2-3 backs that are elite NFL talents. And hurts may still be the best runner. We won't be able to focus on stopping hurts perimeter run as much as last season. Idk I have hope but I don't feel good about stopping that running attack even when we focus on it.

But you aren't helping the case because you always tend to twist his words around.

In fact, by doing this, YOU are the one who is causing the most damage.

I went back and listened. Hanagriff was very fair and level headed in his assessment. Nobody hates Alabama more than him, but he speaks truth and not hyperbole. So maybe you shouldn't alter his message and run to this forum and post it to fit your agenda every time he opens his mouth.

Hannigriff was very negative towards LSU even competing against Alabama after LSU's stomping of Ole Miss, I couldn't listen to anymore.

Do any of you sports talk show clowns realize LSU scored 40 pts. despite the fact they were forced to kick 3 field goals? Offense just needs a little more tuning up!

I swear some of you get so butt hurt anytime a sportscaster predicts LSU may lose a game.

Anyone who is objective can see Bama will be a significant favorite. Future lines in Vegas (the most objective people in world since they only care about money) will have Bama as a 20 point favorite.

LSU does not match up well, but be happy that we've turned our season around and can still have a successful year - which seemed impossible a few weeks ago. Always nice to play Bama to see where you stack up against the best, but it's very reasonable expect loss 7 in a row to Bama to be lopsided.

If Hanny came on the air and started spewing the purple and gold glasses bullshite that I have seen on here, then he would drop down and be in the category of classical frick-ups like Chad Blouin or general dipshits like Buddy Songy.

I tend to fall on the "rose-colored glasses" side myself, for the most part...but basic objectivity tells me that this adds up to a rough game for LSU. 2 years ago LSU had a really good, veteran O-Line and a Heisman candidate running the ball and LSU was manhandled. Last year, the only chance LSU had to score was trying a FG after an Alabama fumble. Outside of that, it was very clear that the score was going to be Bama "something" and LSU zero.

I like where this LSU team is headed. They are getting better every week. They aren't perfect, but they are playing hard and have a purpose. I just don't see them putting any points on the board vs Bama. I do think LSU has a decent chance to slow Alabama down a little on defense...and maybe the game can end up like 20-6 or something like that. I hope a miracle happens....but the more realistic goal is to hope that the Tigers play hard and have some positives that they can carry past this game and allow them to win the last 3.

What you heard Hannigriff say is that Alabama would have to play its worse game not best, LSU only wins if Bama gives it away and LSU plays their best. Stop defending sports talk radio, they're big boys literally and figuratively.

I'm not saying your wife is ugly, people are calling in taking it wrong, what I said was it will take a lot of ugly women competing for yours to be competitive.

Ok, some quick comparisons between Alabama's defense and Ole Miss' defense, then I am done exposing you for being a dumbass. Spoiler alert: Alabama's defense is slightly better than Ole Miss.

Total Defense (to go with NCAA Rank out of 129 teams)

Alabama 236 yards allowed per game (1)
Ole Miss 470 yards allowed per game (114)

Rushing Defense

Alabama 66.4 yards allowed per game (1)
Ole Miss 260.6 yards allowed per game (126)

Scoring Defense

Alabama 9.8 points per game allowed (1)
Ole Miss 37.4 points per game allowed (116)

It's like you haven't watch college football the last 6-7 years

Since the 9-6 game in 2011, that's 6 year Alabama has lost only 7 game. 7. Let that sink in for a second. Then take a look at the 7 they've lost only OU in the Sugar Bowl was by more than 1 score. Hell in the title game last year Clemson with a superstar, NFL QB had to drive and score on the last play. We will be better than 20 point underdogs. To say we will need to play perfectly and they will have to makd mistakes is not only fair it's pretty much the only way they've lost to ANYONE the last 6 years

Look we're all glad we won but running up and down on OM and the 114 ranked D means jack compared to Bama.

So, you're going to expose me for professing LSU can compete with Alabama? Well, kill yourself trying, but it's "the game" LSU fans have circled for a year that will lead to the ultimate exposure of some people.

You probably think LSU has a chance to compete with the New England Patriots right?

But go ahead, it's fun to believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy.

Life is more fun with P&G glasses.

Charlie Hanigriff is the Debbie Downer of LSU Sports reporting. If he'd had any type of inflection and animation in his voice along with some positivity, he might have been considered for Blair's job. Whether we win by some miracle or lose badly, Charlie is the last person's opinion I would trust...unless, you deliberately want to become depressed.

Hannigriff mentioned today Williams record breaking running and receiving yards but made sure not to step in his own shite a second time by repeating that Williams was just an average back. The baws learning.
