I'll never understand how the first thing someone wants to do after UGA misses the last shot is bitch about how it got to that point. I'm not going to act like it was an enjoyable :55, or game for that matter, but I was relieved we won and happy to move on to OU.

I never realized how many people do not understand the sport of basketball in here. I just laughed when people went berserk when Johnny called TO at the end, not understanding he were trying to give instructions to give the easy two and prevent the 3 pt opportunity. Last night was definitely an eye opener. Plus they was people that didn't even know you can get a T for calling TO even though you are out. Yet they feel the need to criticize the coach for every little thing that occurs. I get it, this is the rant. But all I ask is educate yourself on the intricacies of the game before you spout out about something you have no clue on.

I agree drizz. Used to be you had a few folks posting about hoops and not much conflict...and there was a general ambivalence about hoops and you would get all the cute who cares it's basketball comments sprinkled in.
Now there's a bit more passion. There's some critical posts, some of them negative, some reasonable that you didn't see as much before which means more people are tuned in, more care which is IMHO a big step in improving a program and environment where folks are passionate.'
And of course we see the backlash of the sunshiners getting overly sensitive because they are not used to that many folks being so critical. It's all good and I hope in continues. You gotta care first to make it better.
