Does Texas A&M game actually matter for Les' future now?

Previously thought it was irrelevant as far as LSU's decision on his future but that may be changing with the humiliation LSU is getting in national media.
If LSU remains silent and Les goes out there and has a dominating win and walks away with 3 losses, seems like LSU/AD will really get torched for firing him the next day/week.

Of course it matters to the LSU Tigers and coaches...the above "no" is their admission that it does not matter to them...

no. neither did the Ole Miss game.

He asked if it matters in regards to Les future with LSU. And it doesn't.
Obviously it matters to the players and what not. But in regards to Les and his future here, it doesn't.

If he destroys A&M it will make a difference IMO. Doubt he keeps his job, but people will be lobbying to keep him a lot more than they are now.
ETA:
But the 1% chance he keeps his job would rely on him being forced to have new coordinators, lay off the offensive gameplanning, and beating A&M badly.

A&M is a shite show. We would have to win by 50 and shut them out for this game to matter.

Ummmm they are doing about as well as us and trending in a better direction.
If we beat them by 50 and/or shut them out, Les will have an army of people yelling to keep him IMO.

So stupid.
If Les had beaten Ole Miss, these discussions wouldn't even be happening.
Instead he got his arse handed to him in embarrassing fashion.

I think if we beat aTm handily, it could turn a few people. But probably not enough.
