Trying to understand how the cost went up over 10% without announcement or any approval process.

The board? TAF? There has always been some notification in the past. This increase stinks of LSU trying to slide an increase by on fans hoping we don't notice.

Any which way this is fricking piss poor customer service by LSU. To deliver the bills without any comment on it like we are fricking stupid.

Are you talking about tuition & fees? I don't believe there were any ticket hikes this season.

Season ticket bills went out today. The cost for 1 less game in 2017 is the same cost as 2016.

LSU breaks the overall cost of tickets down for each game. Those prices will have to be higher this year to add up.

Either that or they keep the price per game the same and season ticket holders pay more than face value for their tickets.

Did prices go up? Or is there sales tax on the tickets now thanks to the JBE? That would equate to a essentially a 10% increase on ticket prices.

The cost per ticket has definitely gone up. You cannot play 1 fewer game and charge the same price as the prior season. We had the sales tax last year as well.

2013 increase

Last sentence says that the LSU board of supervisors has to make these approvals. This shite needs to be answered.

Was the cost of tickets approved for an increase? There is zero news of this.

I understand now. 7 games in 2016 = $425, now the same price for 6 games in 2017.

You'd be crazy to expect the university to take a cut in revenues so i guess they used the approved season ticket cost on the books regardless of the number of games

If I remember correctly, the season price was the same in years of 8 home games.

What fee increases are you asking about? TAF fees for ticket renewals? Academic fees? Parking fees?

You're not providing enough information...just venting your anger.

ETA: I see you're referring to football ticket prices, right? If so.....what is your question again?

7 home games in 2016: $425
6 home games in 2017: $425

And everyone was sooooo pumped about Florida coming to TS last year, and Alleva did such a good job!! Yeah.....

It will be interesting to learn of the "face value" of the ticket.

So no one had to pay extra to attend the Florida game that was moved to Tiger Stadium?

That was the 7th home game last season.

The season ticket package that everyone paid for up front was for 6 games because the Fla game was originally scheduled to be in Gainesville.

Wow, just noticed that.... They (LSU) think we just except anything. And look at that sad schedule.

Sept. 2: BYU (NRG Stadium) (AWAY GAME)

Sept. 9: Chattanooga

Sept. 16: at Mississippi State

Sept. 23: Syracuse

Sept. 30: Troy

Oct. 7: at Florida

Oct. 14: Auburn

Oct. 21: at Ole Miss

Oct. 28: Bye

Nov. 4: at Alabama

Nov. 11: Arkansas

Nov. 18: at Tennessee

Nov. 25: Texas A&M

Home Games in BOLD

I think the lack of interest in Junk Scheduling is already starting to show in attendance and halftime stampede to the exits.
