he's baiting his audience. Its ESPN, it's to sports entertainment what MTV was to music in the 80's. They cannot fire him because of his handycapped mouth.

Get over what national pundits say. They don't follow LSU as closely as we as fans do. They have to give opinions on every team, not just the one that you know better than anyone else. His comment is based on LSU's recent history of struggling on offense. Most national guys see a good defense and JJ/JL still at QB and simply just assume that this is the same LSU of 2009 and 2010. Hell, it still suprises me to look at the the SEC stats this year and see that LSU is the #1 SCORING offense in the conference. Especially after what we had to endure in 09 and 10.

We need a TD FAQ on who hates LSU, who is delusional, which teams have donated victories to LSU, etc.

With a few exceptions Holtz has been anti-LSU.

I think Holtz & Miles were in a group of college football people that visited the troops in Iraq in the summer of 2005 or 2006 ?

First of all can you imagine a conversation between these two?

Miles must have said something that really pissed of Holtz. Or worse Holtz unintentionally spit on Miles and Miles took him out!

I think he is OK, I remember he always kind of support the underdog, he support us a few years ago against Florida, we lost that game 3-13

Lou picked LSU to beat Alabama and Mark May chose Alabama.

I thought we were doomed after I saw him pick LSU

Lou is on record as saying LSU will not go unbeaten. He's just digging the hole deeper for himself.

Holtz was the sole vote against LSU in the final 2003-04 Coaches Poll, was he not?

One of 3, as I recall.

I seriously think he has a hard-on for LSU because he wasn't granted an interview in 1979 when Coach Mac stepped down.

I know a guy who played ball for Illinois, he said of all the coaches he had been around, Lou Holtz had the absolute filthiest mouth of anyone.

He hates LSU because he wasn't hired as the head coach in the '80's.
