Do you feel that the fact that Les struggles with clock mgmt, play calling (indirectly), and overall game mgmt is making him an easy target for the media.

I can just imagine ESPN discussing which teams to focus on and the comment lurks out, "Les can't get clock mgmt right, how could he possibly keep tabs on compliance and recruiting issues"

No, it's because LSU is a big school with recent success. Thus, we get investigated by ESPN while Cal skates.

yes, in fact I've heard they are discussing a new channel called ESPN-LES just to make fun of him. They know that this will be a big revenue generator since guys like you will be tuned in 24/7.

The only problem Les has, and it really isn't a problem, TIGER RANT....

It probably doesn't help that he manages to win and the talking heads can't make sense of how he did it.

Yes. When it's not the negatards it's the press. Other coaches and players respect him (whether or not they admit it), I respect the shite out of him and more importantly the players respect him. He has handled everything so well so far. Keep winning and they'll keep hating. frick em.

He's probably my favorite non-WVU coach...

Les would have to go 7-5 to even be considered to be fired. 8-4 he'll blame JJ and say the qb will be better

Even though people call for him to be fired the first time he loses a game.

Depends on the outcome of Lyles and Shep, not that they are connected. He's always come across as an idiot savant, but he was supposed to be squeaky clean. If he brings sanctions down on LSU, his leash becomes much shorter.

We need the NFL to get their labor deal finalized.

Once this happens, the NFL will be in the news - Free Agent signings, trades, rookies getting signed, what's going on at mini camps, etc.
