Does Harris starting mean Dupre starts as well?

The Harris-Dupre connection is deadly. Also wouldn't hurt to have his favorite receiver on the field to build his confidence.

Dupre needs to be on the field as much as possible. He's developing just as quickly as Harris is.

Dural, Dupre, Diarse, and Quinn is a deadly corps.

Now that Dupre is healthy he looks like our best receiver.

Sucks that Diarse is kind of getting less reps because of it. That dude has great feet, huge hands, and is hard to bring down.

But if we've got studs on the sidelines that's usually not a bad thing about the product on the field.

Was it just me or did Diarse look deflated last game?

Dupre has clearly become the starting WR opposite of Dural.

I think he looked a little deflated too. I just don't think you're being very nice.

There's the raw highlight video (shot from field level) where he's smiling and joking around with Harris and some others.

The depth we have at WR is a good thing for LSU. Most of these guys would start at any college. Our top 5 guys all have the potential to be a star. However it really comes down to who gets thrown to and what route they run. On many plays we have multiple receivers open. Usually the receiver thats deepest gets the ball. Thats the star for that game. Some teams throw underneath coverage. We don't do much of that. So if you feel a player is deflated it might be cause they haven't had much opportunity to make plays. Each player has important roles. However, big plays and touchdowns are noticed the most. Maybe they could rotate routes and give them all time to shine. The short pass to TE's isn't glamorous but yet it's effective also. That just isn't something we do at LSU regardless of talent. Over the top deep passes or screens is the norm. The ability for each of these players to show more production/stats is possible in other offenses. Unfortunately with LSU you may not see the distribution you may like.

If we would throw to the tight ends more IMO Diarse would be deadly at that position. Seems alot stronger than the other receivers and can gain yardage after contact.
I agree that Dupre needs to be in as much as possible. Our freshmen are elevating their play more each game and are very bright spots on the team.

Dupre looks like his ceiling is extremely high. This no reflection on the other guys that play all of which are solid and will get better as will Dupre.

He had a slight case of alligator arms during the MSU game.
