If we lose on 11-23, at 8-4, I think we go to Peach Boel and will probably play some rediculous ACC opponent who will beat us.

First of all, I expect Texas to get clocked by OSU and Baylor.

A ridiculous ACC opponent like Clemson? I think we are past the point of being choosy about bowl selections. Be lucky to finish regular season at 8-4.

I agree with this. My thinking has been to beat Texas A&M and play OSU or maybe Texas in the Cotton Bowl.

Or could this finally be the year a team from the West plays in Tampa at the Outback Bowl. The SEC East seems really down compared to years past.

Except this year, we'd be lucky if the chicken bowl wants us.

IF...IF we beat TAMU the situation is very different with them having a late season loss to us then us beating them midseason and they beat Bama at Bama in their first SEC season. Alleva still hasnt gotten enough crap though for allowing UGA USC and TAMU to get a better bowl than us though.

If they take A&M it might as well be the A&M bowl because it will be painfully obvious that they will take TAMU every chance they can get.

Even if we win out we could end up in gator.

Lets just say bama runs the table. Cotton would prob snatch up a 2 loss auburn if they dont get an at large bcs bid, crap one would get 9-3 tamu, chicken wouldnt want us, so wed play in gator against michigan most likely.

The Cotton Bowl will ALWAYS take A&M over LSU or anyone else in the SEC.
The entire state of Texas would cream their pants if they could get Longhorns vs. Aggies.

Bama goes to Sugar if AU pulls the upset

No. the secc goes to the sugar. So if auburn only finishes with one loss then there is no way bama can play in the sugar unless the secc is playing for the bcs title.

It has nothing to do with our play, and everything to do with them wanting A&M. Which has to do with them wanting a texas team in the cotton bowl .

Correct, so you either put Missouri in the Cotton and sent the winner of LSU/A&M to Orlando. Loser would go possibily Music City or Outback.

They would put Missouri in the Cotton over Auburn because of the location/Big 12 tie-in's.

9-3 and the Cotton Bowl dumps us ASAP for a TXAM vs Texas match-up.

Chicken Bowl does not want us two years in a row, especially after last year.

SEC office will screw us around and make sure we in bowl with a non-BCS conference team.
