Why dont you try to actually talk about sports and the op? Is it because you dont really know shite about sports?

I have talked about the OP.... Coach O is WAY smarter than you for sure,,,Even though YOU said YOU could have coached this team to A 5-2 record....

Coach O will do fine here.. You are the one that wants him to fail.....

You'd understand if you read the article and comprehended the context of the gratuitous comments.

Is Coach O a family member of yours or something?

As I said before, time will tell. Anyone that you were hoping to convince has been convinced by now. I am not one of them. I'm one that actually has to see evidence of Coach O matching wits with and defeating those who I consider great football minds, because he has not done it yet. Aranda can say what he wants, but Orgeron is the one that has to back it up. It's not truth just because Aranda says so.

If Orgeron can't get it done, then he doesn't have a strong case for being considered among those that are widely thought of as great football minds. If he can't sustain LSU to at least the level that Miles had this team operating, then I don't care what Aranda says, the evidence would indicate that Orgeron's not a great football mind.

Or perhaps we just have different definitions of great. I define greatness as a superior grade versus your contemporaries. O can't get shut out by Saban then be hailed as a great football mind.

Nope. That's the thing. If Coach O doesn't succeed to Miles' level (which I don't think he will), then he doesn't even have a good football mind.

It's successful in that it was an improvement over Miles' last few years

Ed orgeron would dream of having the last 3 years of miles success.
Our 2014 team won more sec games than Orgeron's entire career.
Even if O is successful,we all hope he is , that doesnt validate the hiring process that took place.

I love when you talk yourself into corners. Using your logic you have wanted miles to fail his entire tenure. All you do was trash him.

This is not about me...... I supported Miles plenty, however for a guy that got paid so much money he failed more than he should have and all I did was point it out when it happened... you get butt hurt to easy..... and I knew that even if coach O does great you will find a way to tarnish it just so you can brag about you not thinking it was the right hire.....

Coach didn't wind up here by being stupid, I am sure he is smarter than 90 percent of this board and knows more football than a hundred percent of this board !

True.
I suspect only 10% of this board is as qualified as Da Coach O to be HC.
The rest...nah.

Les Miles needed to be fired last year. Not a FACT but pretty much spot on. Dipshits on this board and their never ending love affair with the hat are one of the reasons we are where we are now. Maybe it's guilt that has you so wound up.

I don't think anyone has ever said Coach O doesn't know football.

The concern has been about his ability to manage a program. That's a totally different animal.
