LSU really should decline a bowl invitation. Fans won't travel and miles and his staff won't use the time to prepare the team anyway.

Definitely not their own fans that is for sure

Maybe Jindal will go, he supports the coaching staff

Can we decline the bowl bid? We need to go ahead and end season. Les and Alleva said we play to compete for championships. Why waste time in this bowl game? What will this bowl game teach us?

I think they will give LSU serious consideration. LSU will be ranked higher, beat UF head to head, has a marketable player in LF, and would make to most interesting matchup vs Michigan.

UF might sell more tickets and might reach a larger TV market.

In the end, those are the two choices for the Citrus Bowl.
