Does anyone think LSU gradually switches to a Stanford type offense?

As in when they had Luck not the past two years where they QB play hasn't been that great. LSU seems to be recruiting bigger receiving TEs.

I think we'll switch to more of a Georgia Southern type offense, and splash in a bit of App State....

I would think either a William and Mary or South Carolina State offense.

a good offense is a great defense. I see us putting defense on both sides of the ball?

I feel like if anything we are moving away from that. We always were a ground and pound team, and under cam started throwing the ball more. All depends on Jennings and other QB's

We have the backs but we DON'T have the Offensive line for it.

False. We have excellent run blockers

I thought our stats are actually that we are throwing the ball about the same, but the average yards per play is up.

Basically, we don't look like a monkey fricking a football out there any more.

Yeah but I bet if you look into the stats we have a lot more first downs off of 3rd downs than last year.

We had a lot of 3rd and longs and 3 and outs. They executed a lot better this year

More like Alabamas. Which is good and sad all the same.

You could throw Georgia in there as well.

Common misconception. Cam's specialty is QB. He's made out QB and offensive scheme more efficient so we have better success at passing. This =\= passing more.

we are definitely more efficient, but people think we are throwing more when we are not.

Inconsistent run and pass blockers. God awful at blitz pick-up, carrying out assignments, technique, playing together and helping their downed QB off the field. 50% sub-par talent and 50% weak position coaching is to blame for the inconsistency.

This does look kinda like UGA's offense except we use more backs but less TE. UGA uses two and if one is hurt, put in another. They also utilize their TE/WR hybrid well. Murray is very mobile and has had long running gains this year. I think we can see Jennings put up a season like Murray's freshman year or senior year, albeit more rushing yards.

Next year is going to be explosive.

2013: 472 run, 306 pass (61/39)
2012: 527 run, 356 pass (60/40)
2011: 591 run, 279 pass (64/36)
2010: 538 run, 301 pass (64/36)

It looks like our run-pass ratio has gotten where it needs to be. Once we got a competent quarterback, we threw more.
