Do you think LSU's defense will be better, worse, or about the same in '15?

Go

I say about the same (a bit shaky early but will progress as the season moves along similar to last year).

More sacks, more turnovers, less game losing 2 minute drives.

Either the same as the 2nd half of last season or a little worse.

I'd say slightly better but not by much as in the 2nd half of last year minus ND.

Around the same.

I don't see us being #1 in yards, but I do see us with more sacks, tfl, and turnovers.. Which may be more beneficial in closing out ganes with wins.

I think about the same overall but with out the the big slips early in the season. Losing Kwon and Hunter hurt but I don't think either were game changers.

It's hard to say. Defensive tackles will be more experienced which should be huge. I think that the talent we lost can be replaced pretty well by what we already have in depth. The only concerning part might be defensive end. From a player perspective we should be better just because of experience. The question is how Steele does, and I have no clue how that's going to work out.

We will be improved. Coach O will have our D-line feared again. I read an article with 2 NFL scouts commenting on the horrible technique our trench defenders played with. Orgeron will help fix that. This will give our DB's better chances at turnovers. I actually think our LB's will be better as a unit also.

I do believe that the defensive line will be better and will at least record more sacks than this year which seemed to be non existant. Seemed to be par for course under Chavis.

Better in yards allowed and points allowed. Just better.

Hoping you're correct. A solid interior line helps everyone on the defense for sure. Orgeron should help light a fire also.

Every position has the opportunity to be better. More aggressive will create more opportunities, good and bad. Superstars like Adams and White have another offseason to get better. Returning starters have the chance to take the next step in development. Ready to see what they can do when they are actually allowed to blitz.

I'm with ya. I'm hoping to see more from the D-Line. Besides the incredible 2011 defensive line, they seemed to disappear several games.

I expect better DT play with O, with a little more effort and emotion. O has to get one of the RSFR to step up this year. Still don't understand how they got nothing out of Gilmore, Bain, Herron... And the potential of Valintine & LMOAF (however you spell his name)will be interesting to follow during spring.
DE's are still a question mark but I like the potential.
LB's should be solid. Losing Kwon hurts but I think Debo is primed to fill in. And a year under Beckwith's belt at MLB should be a good thing for him.
DB's, well, we are DBU and I don't think there will be any drop off. Will be interested to see where Mills ends up after spring but I don't think either CB or S will hurt without him.
D Thomas coming back will also be a big boost to the D. I thought he was the best guy on our D when he went down, though a few guys stepped up big in the 2nd half of the season.
