Why? So they can sit the bench somewhere else for a year?

Would you transfer just because you lost five games? Man, I would hate to be your teammate.

Because Lee has shown no improvement this season.

I have also started to wonder if Lee will transfer. His luck is down here, the fans are down on him. He could sit out a year, then transfer back to a school like Houston or TCU and start for 2 years and improve his stock with a lot less pressure.

Am I wrong? Don't you have to sit out for a year if you transfer? Or is it that you just lose a year of eligibility?

I guess I am foggy on that.

Not at all. JL will not transfer. Would you leave a coach that showed unwaivering faith in you, no matter how bad you performed? Be real.

No players will leave, we may lose a few recruits that probably were only slight leans anyway. I think that looking confused and disorganized will hurt this team more than the actual losses this year. I think Auburn has a better shot at getting back on track next year than LSU does. Their defense has played pretty good and we all know the Franklin experiment severely hampered the offense. If they get back to simply running the ball and find a more capable QB, they should be solid. A good D will keep you in most games.

I expect J Lee to be the starter for the next 3 years.

If it's not him then we will be running a gimmick offense.

Nothing like the pro set and controlling the line of scrimmage.

Now, if our o-line cannot do this, then that's another issue.

This its usually not big name guys, but its not uncommon for kids buried on depth charts to transfer to a smaller school and get some PT.

there's only a handful of colleges that run a predominant pro based system (2 wrs, te, under center, drop back and throw). USC, ND, and Washington are the only ones that come to mind.

Why would our starting QB transfer?

shite Clark, with nothing to support that dude's statement, I believe it.

I think JLee transfers no matter what. Starting, 3rd string, no pick 6's, injury, no injury, etc....

I really at the core, think he's just not happy in BR overall - there's probably a really good small 1-AA out there perfect for him, and I hope that he finds it and has successful career.
