I don't think Johnny should be fired "if we miss the NCAA Tournament."

That's a silly black and white ultimatum, to me. We aren't making the tournament this season. The team isn't good enough. If the team improves as the season progresses, and we get to 20 wins and are better than people thought (we are supposed to be bad this season, don't forget), then I could see the argument for retaining him next season, considering we will have basically the entire team back. From that point, he'd have to make the NCAA Tournament next season to keep his job.


However, if the team completely sucks this season, then fire him. Get someone in here who can coach up all the guys we have coming back next year.

Wtf jones has been here long enough this team sucking and having no talent is his fault.

It's pretty obvious that there is several coaches that need replacing.

This is the same school that let Pat Henry walk out the door.

Yes. He has two balls so he can fire 2 coaches. But that's the limit.

Better yet, get rid of basketball altogether . The one and done has become a mockery....or maybe basketball can go the way of MLB. You can be drafted out of high school, but if you don't get an agent and you don't sign and you go to college, you have to wait three years before you are draft eligible.

That being said Jones is not a good coach, but the one and done stuff is killing college basketball along with the emphasis on the point guard play

We'll be lucky to get to 12 wins.
