It's just too busy. I think if they had the trees just on the bottom sideline it would look alot better than having it wrap around the whole court. That would have given them a simple court design that would still be unlike anything else out there.
I understand that they are trying to give the image of you being in a small clearing surrounded by trees, but they failed at trying to give the perception of depth.
To recap, trees on the bottom sideline, "O" on centercourt, and the "MATT" logo between the wing and the centercourt line below the top sideline with the Pac12 logo on the other side. That would have been the best choice.

Only thing worse in ncaa sports is the boise football field. This oregon court is absolutely hideous.

Sucks- don't really understand why buy a new floor and have that much distress marks. But since its nike must be cool, Its like expensive jeans with pre made holes. What's next? Brand new cars with rust spots and dents?

I think they designed it that way intentionally to make it even tougher on their opponents. It must be tough for the road team to make the adjustment to that court.

I dont think it does much to the other team. I've seen many teams shoot lights out at MK Arena.

itd be tight if there were strobe lights going everywhere and an interactive court. you know with the way technology is advancing and brah its nike you know they can pretty much do anything short of creating a time machine that sends you back to the days of mellow waves and brighter suns
