My son bought them through StubHub or the like. We wanted midfield, not too high up, but then I read another poster that said anything above row 7 in the 300 section was no good. We're in 312 row 16. I think/hope 16 wouldn't be terribly different from row 7.

Thanks. I ended up in 312. There were 4948 people ahead of me in the queue for tickets. Don't know if that is a normal amount for things like this.

I noticed that my credit card was charged $1 by the LSU ticket office. I'm assuming that is a "test run" for the ticket request that I made.
Anyone else have this happen?

Standard LSU procedure for requesting tickets.
"Your credit card will be charged a non refundable $1 processing fee within 72 hours. If we are able to fill your away game ticket request, the same credit card will be charged for the full price of the tickets plus a 5% processing fee per ticket. You must be a current 2024 football season ticket holder, TEAM TAF, or OAKS Member to be eligible to receive away game tickets. If we are unable to fill your away game ticket request, we will notify you by email by June 15th."
