The only good Offenses I can remember him ever having was when he had Vince Young and Colt McCoy. That's the only way he kept his job as long as he did, having 2 of the best college QB's of all time.

Biggest problem we have now is that all these big time programs are getting a jump on us in hiring the top quality OC's while Les looks for a job for Crowton. Its the damndest, dumbest thing I've ever seen!

Has Davis actually improved his offense from the year prior once at Texas? If so then he is better then Crowton.
Texas should hire Crowton, imagine how great they would be in 2011!

---Well I figure since this year's UT offense was ranked 67th that's an upgrade from where we've been the last two years. (That 67th would be an upgrade for LSU is the saddest part of the equation).
Plus, this year was his first down year in 13(?) at UT and he was the OC at North Carolina in their glory years before that.
Anyway, just wonderin'. I see your point, tho, and the other posters who say no way.

Never listen to those people. They don't know shite. They are the ones who were most likely wanting to crucify Jimbo Fisher back when he was here while simultaneously clamoring for Gary Crowton and now they have the opposite feelings regarding both coaches that they had then.
