Do we go bowling this year?

Still need 3 wins and while we have more talent than many of the remaining opponents, we just lost to Troy.
If we get to 6, I think it'll have to be against Ole Miss, Florida, and UT, and all of those games are on the road.

doubtful unless we go as a 5-7. Can't see more than 2 wins out of this team the rest of the way and if i had to bet on it i would take the under even on 2.

I'm not sure. I think we finish with between 5 and 7 wins, 6 won't outright guarantee a bowl bid - but I agree with you 6 wins is about a 95% chance of a bowl.
I think we have to get through the Florida game - if we win that game, I'll bump us to probably - if we beat Florida, I think we can beat Ole Miss. If we win those two, I think a 6th win falls out of the sky somehow.
But, as we sit here today - I think that 5-7 is the most likely outcome for the season.

Arkansas, Ole Miss, and A&M will get us to 6. Tennessee may give us a 7th

Bigger question is, how much lost revenue will not making a bowl mean for LSU? Gotta start adding up all he lost revenue to justify the buyout!

It's so sad that this question even has to be asked. I really never thought I would see LSU in a position where 6 wins may not be a possibility. Yes I remember the 90s but the program is completely different now and the regular season is 12 games vs 11.

unless this team makes a miraculous improvement on both lines i don't see how they make a bowl. they look like a bottom 2-3 team in the SEC.
