Probably the teams get some expense money to cover the trip. When we go on the road to play elsewhere in Louisiana it is always a huge gate for the home team - good old ULALA will never have the kind of crowd they had earlier this year until...LSU goes over there the next time. They will never admit it publicly but it is an honor to have LSU in Laffy.

CPM was quoted after the ULLLLLL game that they fed the players well post game, crawfish stew or something along those lines. So, presumably, that is standard treatment as I doubt the Chilli Peppers did it out of the goodness of their hearts.
