Now Bianco is brain dead. An insurance run would be huge.

The only thing brain dead is this thread. How many of you all have ever coached or would know what to do. Go in person and offer your advice to all the coaches in person, but none of you would have the guts to do that. You would just rather hide behind your computer keyboards and criticize every thing. Ole Miss made the plays and they deserved the win. I think some of you all would be happy if LSU fired one coach a year.

Going to join. He pretty much founded the club. You've got to be a baseball homer to not think so.

I think our baseball coach starts the game that way.

problem is that hitting coach has to clean up the bad habits hitters learned from javi.

The game was lost by the hitters. We had go ahead run on 10th, 11th and 13th. Laird needs to understand the situation and go for fly out. He does that every at bat except that one. He need not get on base. Coaches need to let them know.

It amazes me that there aren't any rant posters with major head coaching jobs....only logical explanation is y'all have been banned from coaching because a rant poster coached team would never lose a game and destroy every team they played by eleventy billion points

It is only one game. Baseball is a marathon. We need to be fine tuned for the post season. We have pretty solid team. Nothing to panic over one game or series.

I agree. I also thought it was dumb to allow the player that was 0-6 to hit in the 14th inning with 2 outs.

The way I see it is that Fraley has been money with runners in scoring position before last night. He was over .500 on the season.

Also, Zardon doesn't exactly have elite speed, probably could have been tagged out at home if Laird didn't get a perfect bunt down. Then the rantards would be chastising Mainieri for bunting with one out.

The thing that gets me is how Baseball will be Baseball. So many ifs. If the outfielder doesn't slip and Zardon doesn't advance to third, it's one out runner on second. That means the infield is playing at normal depth, and Laird's rocket most likely gets through for a base hit to win the game.

Maybe Fraley is an inconsistent bunter in practice and his spray chart indicated a high probability of hitting something to the rt side that would either advance runner to 3b or drive him in

We really didn't have any other options at that point, and even though Fraley is in an 0fer slump he has still hit a bunch of balls hard.

The same way alot of the Rants posters turn brain dead and bitch and moan about every little thing that happened after each LSU loss, no matter what sport or which coach is involved.

Yea,like the 3rd base coach telling Zardon to make the ball go through so he won't get doubled up.
