I've said it before, LSU fans deserve a soul crushing, loss filled season in order to get back to how a fanbase is supposed to treat the development of a football program's year. The majority can't remember what it's like to lose consistently. It's been 15 years straight of relatively good football. They won't know what they have until it's gone.

Damn, you are dumb dude. Have even watched any of their games this season at all? Something is wrong with that team. Even Bama fans are taking notice. Get Saban’s dick out your mouth for a second.

Ive watched some, not all. Not a championship run Bama team, but are you saying its a gimme win for LSU? If so, thats downright retarded.

Oh, and when BH proves he can take advantage of 7/8 in the box to stop LF, which is a strength of Bama at the moment, let me know.

Ignoring the fact of an 11 am start on the road coming off a big win at home.

I'm not ignoring it, I expected it and bet it as such.

Well, we are 3rd nationally in penalties, kind of undeniable we commit more penalties than most.

I guess Les Miles is one of those people. He's not happy with the sloppy play either.

Coach Miles doesn't go on and on and on

So you agree with those you are complaining about. You just dont like that they keep talking about it. That is what hurts your feelings?

You of all people who complained so much about LSU not feeding who you thought was the best running back on the team should be elated that LSU is riding a one in a generation talent like Fournette..

i want an offense that gives him more opportunities to run

we need a good intermediate passing games to give LF more rushing attempts

if you want one stat that i want decreased, it's punt attempts per game

No game is ever a gimme but going the road to Tuscaloosa this year isn't the great challenge it has been in years past either. Oh & I've watched every game including their game yesterday with UL-Monroe. Complete slop fest that would have had the Rant in a complete meltdown even with the score being 34-0. Jacob Coker was awful & the Warhawks were getting heat on him for a large part of the game.

Bama hasn't even been challenged by a strong run game & offensive line yet. That changes next Saturday when they face Georgia & Nick Chubb. If they hold Chubb in check then it's time to worry. If Chubbs rolls, you can shut up with your worrying about being able to run on them.

Good thing because he's the coach and paid to make the team better.

You really don't see the difference in constructive criticism and those that program and coach bash on here?

He's averaging an unreal 210 YDS per game.

Ok, so you're wavering on your position now.

That really doesn't give me enough information...but which one of the categories do you fall in to...

A. Excited about the team to this point and encouraged about continued progress towards becoming a great team.

B. Frustrated that they're not completely dominant and not optimistic about them getting there as long as Leslie is still around

Does it matter? Like many I want to see them work on the areas that need improvement and become a dominant champion.

I am not afraid to discuss the areas that I think need improving. I think the coach will say many of the things you read on here as well. So stop hating on CLM.

And thats great, but lets be honest, this team is really good, and its only gonna matter how we play against Bama and Ole Miss. We would like the team prepared for having to throw the ball in hostile environments. Leonard isn't gonna be able to run for 200 against everyone.

How? You said you want to pass to get him more touches which doesn't make sense and I am pointing out that he's rolling along pretty strong with getting the bulk of the touches and his 210 yds per game plus 8 tds.

for the record my biggest worry against bama/ole miss is that our D will be worn and they will wear them down and their offenses will put up points. that means that we're going to have to score points and possibly play from behind. that's scary for a team relying on almost a "rushing exclusive" offense.

i think LF will be able to run against ole miss/bama, but that won't matter if he's not consistently breaking off big runs if our D is worn down and our opponent's offense can score and control TOS to rest their D

Down the stretch, he will not unless the field is opened up.

Absolutely.

If we don't drop 6-7 passes yesterday, I'm sure you guys would be singing a different tune about the passing game. I see QB improvement. The ball is there, receivers have to make those catches.

I see correction in the passing game that many view as systemic but maybe the receivers aren't as good as we thought.

if passing allows us to convert more 3rd downs and thereby get more plays, it makes perfect sense

your argument only works if LSU is mandated by rule to only have a certain # of plays, creating a zero-sum scenario

that doesn't reflect reality, because if we can be more consistent passing in the intermediate game, we will continue more drives. every punt we avoid is a minimum of 3 more plays, which means 2 more likely rushing plays. and that's at a minimum, b/c if we convert again? another 3 more plays (min).

more passing doesn't mean fewer rushing attempts. a solid passing game will mean more rushing attempts
