At the college level you need execution of basic plays more than something imaginative that gets fricked up half the time.

Thank god someone actually knows what they are talking about. It's common knowledge that ANY play can be successful is the PLAYERS EXECUTE.

but I thought our defense was atrocious that game, not our offense. ?

WTF.

Our offense was terrible that game. We scored 20 points against a team that gave up an average of 30 ppg. Our defense was getting shredded but we held them to 13 points.

We are inconsistent. Not buying all the BS excuses that Arkansas played their bowl game, and that we won't open up against inferior teams or secret playbook or players did not get up for this game.
We took a 5 star number 1 rated athlete and turned him into a failed project.
We will never have a offensive player up for Heisman under this staff. We fail at utilizing talent.

Hurricane you can NOT be this dense.

Baylor had a Heisman winner and how many 10 win seasons have they had while he was there?

Damn but guys are really stretching to make points today.

What is Art Briles' record at Baylor? Hint, hint it ain't even close to 80%.

I guess just wanting a couple of creative plays is a crime instead of running it up the middle on 3 rd and 8 at the end of the biggest game of the year, and then losing.

What you dumbass posters don't get is , NO COLLEG COACH THROWS THE BALL IN THAT SITUATION. Our defense had held them to 9 yards in the second half.

after week 3 I bet these two guys though Holgerson would be the best fit for LSU

Well for starters, less JC Copeland getting the ball, and on the field. More 3 wide 1 back instead of 2 tights 2 backs. Simple things really. Loosen up things a little bit to help out the running game.

You are dumb. Yes more three wide wr while our Offensive line ( with freshman) all ready had trouble picking up blitzes. You don't know what you're talking about. Period

I don't think it would. They scored 20 something versus an amazing LSU D, who had an offseason to prepare. They scored 19 against Auburn who had 40 something days to prepare in a national championship game. They scored a ton, and beat the dog shite out of Tennessee in the middle of the season two years ago.

Funny you mention Oregon. Did Stanford have 40 days to get ready for that great offense?

Why don't you read? Loosen it up to run is what I said. And oh look, another excuse. Young offensive line. Add that one down to the huge book of offensive excuses.

No, they played well and beat them. It happens from time to time.

You set the bar so high by comparing to Baylor. You must print shirts and banners for your 10 win season. Enjoy your 1 championship under miles and 80% winning percentage because that's the most you will ever get under this system. Saban will continue to win championships while you hang banners for your 10 wins.

IF you watched the second half the season, our offense is moving the ball, we are having trouble in the redzone, and that i think is due to our lack of big WRs or a reliable tight end.

Tim Tebows and Cam Newtons don't grow an trees. Look at those offenses without them. If you need two of the greatest college QBs of all time to run your offense it isn't a good offense.

Alabama runs a pro style offense like ours.

We have also won 2 NC without having a single Heisman trophy winner. SO maybe our style of football is ok.

Sad isn't it.

Les Miles does outnumber Saban in one thing.

LSU will never have a highflying offense. We are a ball control team that tries to limit turnovers on offense. DWI.
Also, you think Bama has some highflying offense? Hell no. They actually lost the A&m game by trying to be too cute. There is a total of one defense this yeAr that stopped our running game.

If you think losing 3/5 of our oline is just an "excuse", you know nothing about football.
The oline is the most important part of an offense.

You need to get over this. Saban is the best coach in CFB.
Last time I checked ,Saban is a better coach than all 119 other D1 coaches. Deal with it boy.

Also that idiot you call Miles has beaten Saban in 2010 and 2011 but don't let that get in the way of your crying
