For now! Several more waiting in the wings for that honor. It's amazing that that's even reality! Really enjoyed DJs personality and his game and very happy he's translated so well to the pro game!

Nola is going to be by far the best LSU in the pros. He's got an incredible future ahead of him.

Like him or not, it's still going to be a long time before someone surplants Albert (Joey) Belle as the greatest MLB'er from LSU. FACT

Was going to say Joe Adcock as well. His wiki bio had an interesting fact about him. It states that his first game at LSU was the first baseball game he had ever played.... Then he went on to 330+ homeruns (600 when adjusted for modern "inflation imo) and the 3rd highest fielding percentage all-time for a 1b. Damn good career.

ETA: absolutely love the career DJ is having in Colorado.

DJ needs to get out of Colorado. I don't ever see them being able to truly compete for a World Series.

Every Rockies fan I've talked to in Denver loves DJ. They consistently describe him as the most underrated 2nd basemen in the Majors.
I'm actually going see them play an afternoon game vs the Pirates today.
