Didn't run the short pitch up the middle play...

Unless I missed it which I don't think I did...

Interesting that a staple play like that would just disappear...could that signify total release of the offense by Miles?

BTW-I never had a problem with that play but I know the Miles haters would beat him over the head with it when it didn't work...

I didn't miss it - our stats didn't either.

But if I recall correctly, I'm not sure we ran it against Clemson either. Maybe we're just waiting for that special moment when we need a play to go -2 yards to run it.

Because he's so much better fundamentally at the position than Copeland. For every big block Copeland has, he whiffs on another.

I would rather we run the toss dive than the FB dive. More surprised we didn't see any bubble screens. That was a huge part of the passing game last year.

We still run the same play its just a hand off now. We still block down, kick out the end, and pull backside guard. I think Cam is really trying improve the play action game and this should help. The toss of a great play, but u cant really run play action off of it.
