Really, I felt like I was 12 and sneaking porn tapes out of my dad's closet again.

It comes on tonight on CST and Wednesday I believe replay. Why waste the money. I listened to half of the game on radio, went to bed.

I ordered it on DirecTV (787 HD) for the tailgate but I went in the game. Caught the alma matter when I returned and I was shocked at the picture. I was almost tared and feathered by the folks that stayed behind over the quality of the broadcast and how it looked, like I had something to do with it, yeah I intentually downgraded the satelitte. They were all saying like other posters have said that it looked like someone videoed it from an old vhs camera with the tracking off. I know nothing about who produces this broadcast and if it's entirely owned by LSU or what but with the money they charge for this production I think I could do better with 10 guys using iPhones. Anybody know the deal?

LSU does this once a year. They will not spend a ton of money on something that only happens once a year. Now, my question is why not simply show the Cox Sports Feed and call that "tiger vision".

I had friends with it on EATEL and it shut off at 10. I think they'll all get their money back. EATEL is gonna lose their arse on this.

And is there a reason Cox can't broadcast these games? Too expensive? They are already filming and producing in HD.

I planned on streaming it through ESPN3 on the Xbox to my TV. It showed all day that it would be on. However, at gametime it was not available. I had to move a computer to the living room and stream it that way through ESPN3 (yes, I live out of state). The video quality did remind me of the terrible DVDs we use to buy from the kids on the streets of Baghdad.

Why should LSU waist money for something they may use once a year?

If they were smart they would get better quality and get an app for xbox and ps3 and internet streaming. Then charge a fee like $100 a year and put all the nontelevised sports on there

I've wondered how many people are like me and refuse to pay for 60s technicolor and muffled audio. Just upgrade it to 1980s sitcom quality and I'd pay for it.

The quality wasn't the greatest but it really wasn't that awful. Besides, at least it was in 16:9 format.

This. I was watching a bootlegged feed on my laptop and the quality was so bad that I couldn't even watch it in full screen. I demand an explanation

"...at least it was in 16:9 format"

Correct, which begs another question - 16:9 format is the high definition format, so this video was initially captured in high definition. And yet we got far worse than standard definition. Why? How did it get so badly degraded? It really was terrible.

shut off at 10 for me, we were in Prarieville with EATEL, and of course no one was answering their phones there

Same happened to me, I sent them a message on Facebook and they told me they knew about the issue and credits would be issued to the people affected.

same here...I won't waste my time again. I assume Towson State will be on TigerVision and I will just watch it on ESPN3 for free.

Is there anything that has to be done to get the credit? I plan on calling them this AM, but would prefer not wasting my time sitting on the phone for a while.
