Did the 2016 loss at Lambeau Field kill the LSU fanbase?

That's the last game LSU fans travelled to well.

That was the best football trip I've ever been on... until LSU lost.

Two Cubs games. Getting smashed on Saturday before the game. Shotgunning fireball from a homeless guy walking into the game.

2015 Alabama onward to that game did for a lot, yeah. Everyone spent the whole summer thinking that because Les almost got fired he’d for some reason change the offense.

But LSU had a big crowd show up in Wisconsin for being so far away from Louisiana. But since that game LSU fans haven't traveled for shite.

Yes

Really thought that was gonna be our year with all that returned and Fournette coming off his monster Sophomore year.

What a disaster it turned out to be right out of the gates.

I thought the fall of 2016 was going to be the greatest time of my life with everything that was going on. But it started off as a disaster. At least Trump won.

Only good thing about that game was me discovering a Culver's Butter Burger...now they are in Gulf Shores. Yum!

I think a lot of people died inside when they realized miles was going to run the same offense.

No, it was confirmation that Miles absolutely refused to change the offense and he was on the way out. The Auburn game sealed it and most of us had seen more than enough.

Those games didn't damper the fan base on LSU. We had just had enough of a coach who snubbed his nose at the fans and administration and was taking the program on a downward spiral. If we don't see a positive change in the offensive philosophy, then we have Les Part II.

The real problem, and only time will tell, is we lost out on Jimbo. That’s on Alleva and the Administration for mucking it up about as bad as possible...

I remember a sideline interview by Les Miles during that game, the reporter asked him about the passing game. Les said the passing game was fine even though Brandon Harris was 3-14 for 37 yards. Deer in the headlights

That game killed Les Miles, not our fan base. Walking out of that stadium was brutal.

Next test will be week 2 in Austin. Something tells me we will be deep.

Was a blast until we saw the anemic offense. Nothing had changed, we sat in the stands looking around at each other in bewilderment. Was tough.

Texas is a huge one. It’s more venue than fan base. These back and forth Jerry World and Houston things are getting routine. I’d rather home/home matchups (like Texas).

California will be a big turn out as well.

You can only frick over a fan base for so long. At some point, they just stop caring.

That was the game Miles basically flipped off the entire fanbase and said "frick you. Toss dives till I die bitch."
