How far up the ladder do you think Moffit is?

For the poster that said there are no Saban's in the making----that's bullshite. We pulled Saban from Mich St. We pulled Miles from Okie St. We are different program now though. We should be able to get an elite coach(NFL or college) to come here.

Maybe. But watching the coaching hires this year and in recent years from school, including the big ones like USC, Miami, Texas, etc. makes me wonder.

Aleva has every right to contact Moffitt with requests for information and no duty to inform Miles of that action. Period.

Moffitt works for Aleva, what is he supposed to do, not answer?

This. Sounds like Alleva was doing his job. As was Moffitt. Managers ask questions. Employees answer them. That's how it works.

So do you think Alleva called the women's tennis trainer and asked " how are the girls stroking it " before he fired Tony Minnis?

This premise is ridiculous... The national media had a hold of this story around Tuesday following the arkansas game right? Coach Miles could follow this story in the media or here at the Tiger Rant.

I do think we were all surprised by the manhandling are team got against alabama but we were in position for the CFP... What could have been if our coaches and players showed up AND played well early against arkansas.

Moffitt has not done as good a job as he had for years. In the past Lsu Has won games in the 4th. quarter, the last 3 years we lost in the 4th!

Last night I dreamt Moffit left and we replaced him with Manny Diaz, who for some reason was a head coach when we hired him. Take it FWIW

You don't know what you are talking about. We are loosing games in the 4th quarter because of depth and time of possession. "The Franchise" knows what he is talking about. Dead on.

Miles' practices are extremely physical all season leaving players no real recuperating time. Saban, otoh, runs his practices more like NFL practices.

That must be why NFL people deride Saban for grinding players down during the season with physical practices and LSU took the pads off the week we played Arkansas.

Our players aren't developing physically. That's on Moffitt.

Why do our players always seem to do so poorly at the combine at the bench? I know the bench press isn't the be-all with regards to testing strength but I find it strange that our players consistently do poor there.

Dumb comment. U haven't seen the before and after pics obviously. Moffit is one of the best at maximizing a players potential at size n strength.

Please show where I said there are NO potential Sabans out there. There very well may be, but it's highly unlikely that the present administration at LSU would do what it takes to hire someone like that. Also, please don't compare hiring Saban from Michigan State with getting Miles from OSU. Les was never a "Saban-in the-making".

The women's tennis program doesn't make the school millions of dollars and getting rid of their coach didn't cost the school millions of dollars. The two are not really comparable.

IMO, you're looking for overall strength.
