it just looks like jennings is not as prepared mentally as other QB's in the SEC. it's been said he's a film room junkie but the results aren't happening on the field.

What exactly from that play makes it seem he doesn't know a very basic rule?

Yea, the guy on scholarship at a major program has no idea how overtime works. This place has been a cesspool of stupid today.

Donovan Mcnabb didn't know that the game ended in a tie in the nfl after 1Q of overtime. So it's entirely possible.

But, most likely he just thought he had his guy open.

LSU threw the previous 3 times in over time .
AJ was throw 1st on that final play, and he made a mistake not adjusting.
Bo Wallace (OM) threw to wrong receiver with their game on the line
in similar situation. He made a mistake even with a ton more experience
in the SEC.
AJ would be in the bottom of SEC QBs, Wallace would be in the top.

Mistakes are Mistakes...it ain't easy.

in jennings defense, quinn kept dropping the ball.

his two drops on third downs killed LSU's last 2 drives in regulation.

It looked like he was focused on the receivers

This is how he is. Poor kid has no ability to look off and to see the field, and he is not developing in this key area either...

That is a much more obscure rule than knowing you can get a first down. It's really not comparable at all.
