Did Canada request the meeting with Alleva?

I can imagine he wasn't too thrilled with essentially being removed as OC for the 1st half of the Troy game. It stands to reason that he very well could have requested a meeting with Alleva about being allowed to do his job, as was promised when he interviewed for the position.

Maybe Aranda was pulled out of his film study to sit through this (I bet he was excited about that) in order to make it look like a meeting with the coordinators, not a meeting about who exactly is running the LSU offense.

Then Ed O brought it up unprovoked during the media conference call in order to get out ahead of the story and frame it the way he wanted it.

This felt like Alleva's doing to me. He feels the immense heat on him now and wants to make sure they don't lay another egg on Saturday, for whatever good a meeting may do. I can't imagine Canada going over his boss's head to call a meeting with the AD.

I don't really care who called the meeting. I would like to know why Orgeron thought the public needed to know about it though.

Because we're his friends. We speak the same language.

He wanted to show people that he is trying to get something done. It didn't work.

O told Alleva that all the coaches were making fun of him and calling him names, so Alleva called them together and told them to knock it off. Word on the street is Orgeron got hit with 4 spitballs during the coaches meeting before the Alleva meeting.

WOW!

We went from O asked him to simplify and remove all of the shifts to he was "essentially removed" as OC for the first half against Troy?

This place is so special!

Right. He asked Canada to simplify the offense and remove shifts.

But now I'm reading that Canada was essentially removed as OC for the first half. That's quite a leap.

Y’all have no clue about the hate between some of the coaches right now!

The players even said they were running plays from Ensminger's interim offense. Canada probably still had the authority to call it, but that's pretty damn significant.

Technically, if this was TRULY about management of the team via coaches, the meeting should've been with Austin Thomas.

Because it was Alleva tells me it's more about politics.

I think it's pretty safe to assume that Canada hates Orgeron. Can you imagine what Aranda is thinking right now? I'm sure they are both thinking " how in the hell am I working for him instead of the other way around?" Unfortunately I don't think there is a way out without burning it all to the ground from the top down.

Anyone paying attention to what's really going on has to know it's over for Orgeron. His reactions to the stress pretty much tell us that he's feeling the heat immensely and it's really only started. Another 2-3 weeks of losses and finger pointing ought to about do it.

Nah to me this sounds like Alleva knows he's done if this doesn't turn around so he got them all together to tell them they need to get their shite together
