It is not the network but the channel being transmitted. The lower VHF(2-6) channels in general are easier to pickup than the higher channels (7-13) and the UHF channels(14 and above) are very finnicky also.

By the way, all HD antennas do not pick up BOTH VHF and UHF. Some are either/or. Some are both. Be careful in antenna selection.

God such is life in the sticks. I can see the Empire State Bldng tower from my son's bed room (If you climb thru the mess)

I picked up CBS very well on the north side of the PMAC with an amplified antenna.

TVFool

TVfool will show you radiation patterns and the exact azimuth to point your directional antennas. Also show's signal strength at a given location.

Channel Master products ROCK.
